Jenifer reached out a few months back, hoping to capture a fun stage in her and Jason’s lives. I rarely, rarely do family sessions, this was a decision I made years ago when I flung myself full time into the wedding industry. Every once in awhile a family session comes along and they steal a little piece of my heart. Jenifer and Jason, a beautiful couple who met at work a few years back, were set to enjoy summer and all that Lake Michigan had to offer. They were renting a fun little cottage on Lake Michigan for a summer getaway and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to capture a bit of them enjoying the vacation. Jason’s two kiddos were absolutely hilarious, beautiful, charming, and not one ounce camera shy and my goodness, I just loved hanging out with them and watching them interact. There is something about capturing moments the unposed, candid, raw moments of life because those are the ones that you really connect with, those are the ones that tell a story.
