Holy moly, guacamole, it’s 2016 and the time has come to ask all of you loyal, beautiful, encouraging people to spend two minutes of your day making my year… before you roll your eyes or groan or say “not again, Jenna” I want to tell you a story about why this matters. The best day of my career happened last summer. My grandparents (all four of them) hopped into one car and road tripped six hours to our house. They pulled out their garment bags, dressed up, and were ready to celebrate. On top of the four of them, my parents, in-laws, and of course Drew rallied around me to spend the night reflecting on this career of mine and the dreams I’ve chased. Deciding to leave corporate America, a salary, benefits and the career I thought I wanted to jump into life as a full time entrepreneur was a scary, scary leap but without this little support system of mine, I would have never had the guts to do it.

That night is kind of a blur (thank you, to my sweet friend, champagne!) but here is what I do know: I was the only person there who had three generations of family there, actually, I was the only person who had family there. To me, it was a reflection not of my success but of the fact that I am “making it happen” and I have the support, blessing, and cheers of the people I love most. In my sequined dress that night, with tears running down my face, overly tight spanx and uncomfortable heels, I was awarded not only the Best of Wisconsin Photography award but the Top of the Tiara award… y’all, I was named THE top vendor in the entire state of Wisconsin by people like YOU. Which is where you come into play!

So here’s why I am writing, it’s to ask you:  Can we make it a three-peat? I am talking about winning the  Best of Wisconsin Bride award again.  Can I hold on to the title and give my family another reason to visit, to road trip six long hours, and to celebrate with me? I’m not sure about you, but I think we can do it and I am determined to claim the title three years in a row. You in? I hope so, because I really need you to be a piece of the puzzle.
