It was my favorite kind of reunion – the one’s surrounded with love. I met Beth two years ago when she was a bridesmaid in one of my weddings (cheers to Nick and Sara!) and we have been friends ever since. When she got in touch to tell me that John had proposed, we knew we had to team up for their big day! Spending the day among some of my favorite people (and past clients) makes me feel so at home in my job. John and Beth have been together for eight amazing years, they go together like peanut butter and jelly and are clearly an example of opposites attracting in the best possible way. They light up each other’s lives, bring out the best in one another, and have hearts of gold. They wedding took place on a boat on Lake Michigan and as the fog settled in, they said “I do” in the presence of cheering family and friends.
The romantic fog set the tone of their day as they laughed and smiled with their wedding party. Each and every detail crafted by the amazing bride was pure perfection and made her vision come to life. From the sequined bridesmaid gowns to Beth’s custom wedding dress, the whimsy details to the delicate blooms, the vintage globes and the fresh travel themed decor… every piece of their cohesive puzzle was straight out of a dream. No amount of rain or fog could get the happy couple down, it was finally their wedding day and it was going to be the best day ever. It was such an honor to spend the day with these two (and the people they love most) as they became husband and wife (I also made the girls pinky promise that I will be invited to their next girls night… I am hoping they keep their promises, they are pretty much the best!)
