I’ve known Jamie since I was a kiddo! We grew up in the same small Minnesotan town and I graduated with her little brother (who was obviously my fifth grade boyfriend!) When she reached out this year to tell me about the love of her life, Kelsey, and how they wanted me to be the one who photographed their big day, I was giddy. It’s always amazing how my little camera can reconnect me with such special people. It gives me a backstage pass on the best days ever and I am nothing short of thankful for the people who quietly have followed my journey just waiting for their own big day to come! Kels and Jamie have a lot of the same passions, which is probably why they hit it off at their friends wedding when they met! Jamie said, “I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would meet Mr. Man of my dreams that night.” They love their families, enjoy wine, love being outdoors and are passionate about their careers. They work hard, play hard, and they don’t take themselves too seriously. I loved spending some time with these two who travelled all the way to Milwaukee for a weekend away from Sioux Falls just to give me a chance to capture them with my camera. Next year can’t come soon enough!
