Jade and I grew up down the road from one another. He was a few years older than me and an awesome basketball player. He was always one of those guys who made you feel valued (even if you were a freshman and he was a senior) and if I ever happened to be stranded at school, he would offer me a car ride home. He met the beautiful Hyojin in college and they have been happily married for over eight years. They are absolutely adorable together (I mean, c’mon) and they recently added a third member to their cute family, Ari Parker. He is absolutely charming, adorable, and enamored with his parents and I pretty much fell in love with this cutie pie over the course of an hour in Jay Cooke State Park.
Hyojin and I have chatted over the years and when she saw I was in town for a few days, we quickly threw together a plan to do some relaxed family photos on Sunday morning! Not only did they put up with my post-wedding tired eyes, they made me smile until my cheeks hurt and we caught up while we took these images. It was so great to hear about their experience as parents, transitioning into mom and dad roles, and all of the fun that Ari has brought to their lives. I am so entirely thankful for the people that my job connects me with and after ten years of not seeing these wonderful souls, I am even more grateful that they entrusted me with their memories!
