Oh man, this print shop. I tell ya! It’s been a little dream in the making and each and every week has held an exciting change or milestone or project. Right now I have exactly one month until my schedule fills with painting projects, naps, and Grey’s Anatomy marathon filled days. Wedding season has been absolutely mind-bogglingly awesome. This year has been filled with clients from near and far who have stolen my heart on a weekly basis and have brought me to tears. I have successfully filled my calendar with couples I adore, weddings I look forward to, and people I want to keep in my life long past “I do!” While I do best when I am busy and function well under stress, I am yearning for a day of nothingness. The urgency of chasing my to-do list day after day for six months straight has left me wanting a slow down and part of that slow down includes more time with my hunk of a husband. Although we have done our best to keep up with our weekly date nights and our Sunday’s spent on the couch, we still have been too busy and we could settle for a slowdown, that’s for sure!
This week’s Print of the Week is : Shut up and kiss me already! It’s the perfect reminder to disconnect, set your phone down, and kiss the person who you are falling asleep next to. Forget the sleep, forget the to-do list, forget to check your instagram and just lay one on the person you love, will ya? Seriously, just kiss like you’re kids again and then get back to me – you’ll be feeling 110%! September was the busiest month in the print shop yet with well over 100 orders, so let’s make October a chart topper and stay tuned for more work to be added every week! It’s going to be a blast!
