There are those inquiries that land in your inbox and leave you crossing your fingers (and toes) and they say, “I choose you!” It’s kind of that feeling of the close of a first date and when I get those inquiries, I just feel fortunate (and like I should pop a bottle of champagne when I get the news!) Beth and Scott were just that. The awesome thing? Beth will be the maid of honor in an upcoming wedding I am shooting (hey, hey Jordan and Maya!) and so the fact that I get to work with my couples more than once or twice… the icing on the cake.
Scott and Beth live in Minneapolis but took a day trip while I was home in Minnesota to hang out in Duluth. While the weather had been hot and sticky, it suddenly got cold and windy (thank you Lake Superior) so we warmed up by the fire at Canal Park Brewing Co (with a nice cold beer) and we got to talk wedding plans, life, and my love for Minnesota! Scott and Beth met in high school but things started getting serious once college began and they found themselves on the phone with each other for hours! When you don’t get bored in a long distance relationship, it’s a sign you probably should hold on tight. The past six years these two have continued to fall in love over sports, music, beer, babies, traveling, and animals (not to mention their sweet labradoodle pup!) I’ll be seeing you soon, you two! So happy you chose me!
