The Beginning of Jacqueline’s Journey
Jacqueline started off as a fashion designer and eventually launched her own company, Designer Consulting Co-op, where she has successfully launched over a thousand fashion apparel and accessory brands.
She then co-founded The Product Boss with her business partner, Mina. Together, they help product-based business owners worldwide and service-based businesses looking to add products to their offerings.
The Key to Making More Money: Diversify!
One of the key takeaways from our conversation was the importance of having multiple streams of income. Jacqueline emphasized that relying solely on one revenue stream can be risky, especially in uncertain times like the recent pandemic.

Jacqueline advised against this approach, as it can lead to wasted time, money, and effort. Instead, she encouraged entrepreneurs to focus on a niche and create products that solve a specific problem or meet a particular need.
We also touched on the concept of product validation. Before diving headfirst into production, it’s crucial to test the market and ensure that there is demand for your product. Jacqueline suggested interviewing your ideal customers and getting their feedback before investing time and money into manufacturing, which I think is perfect advice!
Marketing Your Product
Another challenge that came up in our conversation was the fear of marketing and putting oneself out there. Many entrepreneurs, especially introverts, struggle with showing their face and promoting their products.
However, Jacqueline stressed the importance of building a personal brand and connecting with customers on a deeper level. People buy from people, and sharing your story and passion can create a strong bond with your audience!
In terms of marketing, Jacqueline emphasized the need for a clear offer and a targeted approach. Instead of trying to sell to everyone, focus on a specific audience and tailor your messaging to their needs and desires.
She also suggested that during holiday seasons or special occasions, such as Christmas or the new year, creating gift guides or highlighting specific products can be highly effective in driving sales!
