Holy cow, how is it Friday already? I am gearing up (quite literally) for an amazing double header that I am happily calling my A-Team! Today I get to celebrate with Alex and Ashley, tomorrow with Alex and Angela! I’ll be putting on the miles (with my amazing assistant Erin) and we will be rocking out some beautiful weddings together this weekend! I feel like these weeks are flying on by and although I have been wildly busy, I still have been making time to sit my bum down and paint a little! It’s a time for me to just chill out, play some music, shut down the computer, and see where the design goes. Sometimes I go in with a game plan, sometimes I just figure it out as I go.
The photos above are from The Print Shop and my Instagram feed (if you aren’t following along, click here to get in on the fun!) A few of these are still in progress and most have been added to the shop – along with a few new fun products: floral rugs, computer skins, and new iPhone cases! Yahoo!
There is so much to celebrate this week, here are a few reasons why I am saying: Hip, hip, hooray!
1.) Our Home Tour was featured on The Everygirl yesterday and it was surreal, amazing, and so fun to see! The Everygirl is a source of inspiration in my life so to see my story and images on their site was beyond cool.
2.) I’m working on a new collaboration with my favorite calligrapher, Laura Hooper, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming! (Hint: brides, this one is for you!)
3.) It’s our anniversary next week (3 years, already!) and we are headed to spend some time in Chicago and away from work! We are staying at The Godfrey and I can’t wait to explore the city with Drew!
Do you have any fun recommendations or favorite food joints in Chicago that we should visit? Comment below!
