Okay, deep breath, holy crap! You guys, I am so darn pumped that our sweet home is featured on The Everygirl today! This site is filled with inspiration from design to advice, home tours to tutorials, they are constantly inspiring women to chase their dreams and do big things! This is one of my biggest features to date and I am in disbelief that they wanted to feature our new home in our tiny farm town. I have been absolutely smitten with this site (and the girls behind it) since I first discovered it last winter. Over the last year I have had the chance to team up with them in a few different capacities from shooting video for Alaina’s home tour, painting pieces for their shop, and sharing Instagram photos with their account that has over 100k followers (holy cow!) When they asked if we would be interested in sharing a tour of our home, I was a little shocked. I mean, our place is an interesting mix of old and new and is always a work in progress (we’ve only been in our home for a little over a year!) We’ve slowly been taking the empty space and filling it with things that reflect us, that make us feel at home, that make our space one that we can live in and be creative in!
It is wild to see our humble home featured over on their site (along with my thoughts on design, decorating, living in a tiny farm town, making a house a home, and trying to get it all done in a day!) Let me be the first to admit that it isn’t that clean on a daily basis and we usually have two pups sleeping by our sides while we hang out but this feature is such a fun reflection of the home we have been working on over the last year (and I promise, we will continue to share as we update and add fun stuff to the space!)
