After photographing over 100 weddings, I’m always shocked when I see something that just stops me in my tracks. Tyler and Katie did that time and time and time again. From the way her hands shook as she read his excited letter to her, to the way he froze with tears on his cheeks as he thought about seeing her for the first time. The little whispers “You’re so beautiful” and the loud, “I’ve got a wife” sentiments. Every moment of their day was centered on a love that is hard to sum up – an eternal, unconditional, pure love that flowed through every moment of their wedding day.

When they said their vows, it was like they were the only people on the planet, the guests lucky enough to take part in such a sacred ceremony. Tyler and Katie floated through their wedding day with grace, gratitude, and so many tiny moments that made up the perfect day. As I laughed with Katie and helped Tyler with the buttons on her dress at 2AM, I was reminded that I get to be a part of some of the most incredible moments this world has to offer and I get to spend my days documenting love stories that will be told for generations to come.
