Thrift Find: Vintage Ladder // Total Price: $12 // Found at: Five Star Antiques, Fort Atkinson
As a fun new way to introduce parts of our new home to you, I want to share bits and pieces of our favorite new things we are acquiring as we make our house a home. Our house is super new, so in order to add some character and interest, I am keen on finding thrift, antique, and unique things to fill it with! Hitting up the local flea markets, antique stores, and everything in between has yielded some fun treasures that are certainly one of a kind. If you follow me over on instagram, (jennakutcher) you’ve seen my feed fill up with all kinds of new things! I love finding an old treasure, something you know has a story behind it and something begging to be reused or repurposed in a new way… that is exactly what I thought when I found this old ladder for a whopping $12. I wondered first if I could fit it in my car, but I knew I had to get it, so I made it work. I hoped it would add some interest, a little height, and purpose to our living room that has lofty ceilings, I love the charm it adds and think it was the perfect addition to our space.
