They met by chance, one lucky (and random) January night out in the Third Ward. She went out with her girlfriend to watch the Packers game, the bar was packed and they were left stuck at the bar. Taylor glanced around and saw a table of guys with two open seats but she decided to try and play it cool. Lucky for her, one of Ryan’s friends came over rand casually asked them if they would like to sit and watch the game with them. Taylor is usually shy at first, but this night, she had a little gumption and decided to go meet these men, lucky she did because that was the night she met Ryan.  “I had a feeling I had met my future husband when I met Ryan and saw his beautiful and welcoming smile,” Taylor described. The next night, Taylor and Ryan met up for sushi and hit it off, it’s safe to say the rest is history but their story continues in incredible ways.

One important thing Taylor learned about him right off the bat, is that he is in The Reserves in the Army, and was about to be deployed to Afghanistan. Much to Taylor’s surprise, Ryan proposed to her the night before he left for Afghanistan. Shocked, happily surprised and a little caught off guard by the act, he simply said that he didn’t want to wait to propose until he got back and wanted her to have something fun to look forward to. She happily accepted the challenge and on Saturday night, we watched their vision unfold in front of their friends and family. It was a beautiful September day the unfolded with ease and was filled with love. There was laughter, tears, and so much celebration as these two tied the knot and promised forever together. What a gift it was that Taylor had decided to watch the Packers play that January night, it’s a love story that is nothing short of a blessing to tell.
