A few years ago, Josh took Cora on a road trip to a place called Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. They were supposed to be looking for a place to live near Raleigh, but Josh had another plan. Upon landing he loaded up their car and they were on the road to Kitty Hawk, a place that would soon become special to their story. One road trip up to the outer banks and a with a surprise planned, he took her to a place that would soon hold great significance. After coordinating with a few strangers at the hotel, Josh took Cora on a walk on the beach and as soon as his feet hit the sand, he was down on one knee asking her to spend forever with him. The strangers signaled a fisherman on the pier and fireworks went off in celebration!
On Saturday night at the same pier, this Wisconsin couple surrounded by 70 of their friends and family (who travelled miles upon miles to be present) got married in the spot they got engaged. The waves rolled in, our feet got wet, the wind was fierce, and it was absolutely perfect. To let people into such a sacred place for them, to invite others to share in their bliss, to share the view and the love, it says just about everything about this duo. They are already planning on coming back to this special place year after year to celebrate the vows they said on the beach. Oh, what a day.

It really showed all the hard work you put in this day.. There were alot of extremely happy tears in everyone’s eyes…our kids hopefully got a lesson on a perfect wedding day for all…
