JOHN + DANIELLE
January 19, 2013 // Duluth, Minnesota // Engagement Session
“With just one look, when I saw your face I fell in love. It took a minute girl, to steal my heart.”
Danielle and I have been friends for years, in and out of touch. When she got engaged we chatted all about her plans, the dress, the colors, the venue. She made my giddy when she asked me to photograph their special day, I might have happy danced for a day or two. We set up plans for me to head to Duluth for their engagement session, little did we know the temperatures would plummet. We started at fitger’s brewery complex for a few indoor shots with their adorable french bulldog Stella. We then made the trek to what I am convinced was the coldest place in Duluth, Park Point. They trusted my vision for some winter beach photos and I have to say, I am in love with them. Our fingers were freezing, eyes were watering, teeth were chattering but my Lord, I just love those photos. Kudos to these two tough cookies for hanging out in the frozen tundra in order to catch some amazing images that tell their story. I am so beyond blessed to work with clients who trust my vision and are up for anything. I can’t wait to come home this summer for your big day! You two are pure perfection… oh, and little Stella girl too!

dying to know: what do you think of a winter beach engagement session?

What do I think? I think it’s brave and lovely and amazing (and cold!)
I love every ounce of it.
🙂
Love love loving those snowy beach shots Jenna!!!
