we curled up on comfy chairs at starbucks the first time i met lindsay. she told me about the love of her life, jim, and how they love going to concerts. she shared a vision of a wedding so beautiful i couldn’t fully imagine each detail. i waited anxiously for their day to approach and by the time it came, i was antsy and anxious to get to work. i would by lying if i told you i didn’t tear up when lindsay got into her incredible lace monique lhuillier gown. the day was flawless, almost as flawless as linds. after a beautiful ceremony, we headed to discovery world for a gorgeous august night of celebrating. 

i never shared this, but one of my favorite parts of a wedding day are the speeches. to get to listen in on some of the most intimate words parents and best friends share is something that always gives me goosebumps and leaves me misty eyed. the way that lindsay + jim’s families and friends spoke of them resounded so deep in my heart, it made me so grateful to get to share in such special moments. they talked of how this couple has a way of making life one big adventure waiting to be tackled, about how when you are with lindsay you just feel good, and about how a love so true, it had to be celebrated. there is only one word i can use to describe their day and it was fun. the dance floor filled up to the sounds of an incredible band, so perfectly fitting for these music lovers. they danced their way to forever and now i am left pouring through photos that tell a love story that is simply flawless.
