Oh man, these last two weeks have been a total and utter whirlwind. I have been running on little sleep, have been fired up, inspired, tore down, afraid, enlightened and so on fire for my latest project. You might have caught wind of the #jennakutchercourse via social media, our hashtag keeps growing and the waiting list is getting huge. So what is all of this? Well, it’s a dream of mine and frankly it’s a dream I have been too afraid to admit, let alone whisper this last year. I want to teach, I want to coach, I want to help businesses grow and profit, I want to encourage people to chase dreams, I want to empower humans to feel comfortable in their skin, I want to step outside of comfort zones, and grow. This year I got a business coach. I’ve dreamt about this for so long, I’ve sat across the table from dear friends of mines who are crazy talented and yet they aren’t making it as a business. Why are these passionate people struggling to be profitable? Where are the gaps? In just over a week I have been challenged and taught, stretched and empowered, and I have really realized this dream of mine and what it would look like to actually chase it. In just one week I’ve had over 350 people express interest in my course that is in the works, I have led a focus group of over 100 creative entrepreneurs and dreamers, I have started an email list that keeps growing by the hour, and I have started to form my curriculum for a course that I am pouring every ounce of my heart and soul into.
So what is #jennakutchercourse? Well, it’s a lot of things. It’s going to be a six week, take at your own pace online course. It will contain modules, videos, pod casts, worksheets, and challenges. Each week will dive deeper into your personal and professional goals and how you can get from Point A to Point B. It will challenge you to put yourself out there, empower you to share your dreams, encourage you to market yourself, teach you to generate profits, and charge you to take your business to the next level. This course will change your life, this is certain. Right now I have been leading a focus group of 100 creatives from photographers to designers, wedding planners to architects, etsy shop owners to calligraphers, painters to nutritionists and I can tell you: lives are changing, just in week one. People are feeling empowered, they are moving with the challenges, they are sharing their hearts and dreams, and they are generating plans for their businesses and how they will change and grow in 2015. This is our year, people, this is our year.
I have been there: in that windowless office, working hour upon hour at a job that didn’t inspire you. I’ve working my way from not knowing how to use a camera to becoming the Top Rated photographer in Wisconsin. I’ve started from the bottom, now I’m here (and living in yoga pants while working from the couch.) I know the feeling of not knowing where to begin. I know what it feels like to face the doubt and questions, I have overcome the comparison game and have grown a brand I am proud of. You guys, I get it. It’s hard and challenging, it’s daunting and tiring, it comes at a cost of relationships and financials, and it isn’t for the faint of heart. Chances are, you have a dream like I do and it’s time you start chasing it.

Much like you Jenna, I am afraid to even speak or publicly announce how passionate I am about photography, design, creating, writing. They are forms of expression that make make you so vulnerable, but make you feel like you are truly showing others your authentic self. I am a 26 year old working in downtown Minneapolis, surrounded by pressures of the corporate ladder and my internal self is yearning to have more hours in the day to do the things that I truly love. You are an inspiration, your strength and passion is out of this world, and your vulnerability to create, teach and express is admirable. As a female in my twenties, I am intimidated by the amount of talented creatives in the cities, and am scared to take that leap of faith.
