This weekend is finally here and a wedding I have been looking forward to all summer has arrived. Leigh Ann and Patrick are getting married at the picturesque Mulberry Lane Farm near Green Bay and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share in their wedding day. From the first time I got coffee with Leigh Ann, I knew we were the perfect fit. We talked about life, dreams, ambitions, our pup children, and focused on our friendship more than the wedding… it was a match made in heaven. When I started looking at their beautiful venue, I had my fingers and toes crossed that they would choose me to capture them… I literally jumped for joy and drew hearts on my calendar for their wedding date. I can not wait to share in their day and to take my sweet friend, Stephanie along for the ride to help me out. It is going to be an incredible weekend, so get to know these cuties and stay tuned for their wedding images to come next week!
Name: Leigh Ann and Patrick
Wedding Date: September 28th, 2013
Wedding Venue: Mulberry Lane Farm
1.) How did you two meet? Patrick and I met through a good friend of his who was also my co-worker, Lindsey. (We had secretly met a few years early because he lived next to my parents AND also had a bulldog puppy at the time). Lindsey reintroduced us and our first “date” was a backyard puppy play date with two adorable english bulldogs.
2.) How has your wedding planning experience been? Our wedding planning experience has been pretty easy going. We had the perfect amount of time to plan (almost exactly a year). It really has not stressed me out very much aside from finding the perfect venue – which we have and our so incredibly excited about and when I found out our invites were going to cost 2.87 a piece to send. WHAT?! No worries an iron was all I needed to flatten them out and get to a 86 cent stamp.
3.) What are you most looking forward to about your big day? I think both of us are simply looking forward to promising our forever to each other. It might be cliche but it truly is the best part of the day. We are, also, very excited for everyone to see this very special place that we will be able to take our children back to for years to come!
4.) What advice do you have for soon to be brides? My best advice to pass along (and advice I received from my mom). Everything will turn out. Every time something does not work out it is for a reason and it may be hard to see it at the moment but you will realize why soon enough!
5.) What was your favorite thing about your engagement session or experience with Jenna? My favorite part about our engagement session was the fact that Jenna captured real smiles and ridiculous laughter. We are not models… let me tell you. We very much dislike being the center of attention but Jenna didn’t just tell us to look somewhere and smile she really was actually making us laugh and smile the whole time. We are blessed to have found someone who could capture the real us…
6.) In a few sentences describe your wedding day vision or theme? Our wedding day theme would be simply beautiful. We wont be overdecorating any part of our wedding venue and is just as I described…. simply beautiful.
