i am convinced that i need a whole lot more of laura in my life after spending the weekend with these two. seriously, she is one of the coolest gals i know. we all met back in college and don’t see one another nearly enough, but i was pumped when a last minute decision to do their engagement photos led us into the woods near our place. shooting weddings and sessions for people i know personally is always super rewarding. it’s like the sweet combo of warm chocolate chip cookies and almond milk when you get to hang with with people you love and capture a little of their story. we went out with a plan to have no plans and stumbled on some amazing locations right outside my own backdoor. combining work and friends is refreshing, because i know them enough to help capture the true essence of each other. watch your eric’s sly grin, you can bet he is teasing laura about something… i absolutely adore how genuine these two are and now they have photos to match.
