Yeah, it’s already been two months since we got back from Costa Rica, a vacation and left me wanting to get back there as soon as I physically can. I’ve talked a lot about how we make travel a priority in our marriage. Every year in February, we jet off to somewhere tropical to spend a week of pure disconnect together as a couple. We generally go Superbowl week (which is also the week of Drew’s birthday) and have watched the Superbowl in four different countries the last few years. This year we used an amazing travel agent, Mary, to help us plan our trip. It was so challenging finding what we wanted with how much is out there on the inter webs, so going through a professional saved us time and stress in the planning process. We ended up spending a week at The Occidental – Grand Papygayo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, an adults only, all inclusive resort. It was a really great week of disconnect. We had a lot of personal stuff going on so having a week of quiet, time to be together, and rest was just what we needed. It was a beautiful place to slow down and boy, was it hot. This is just a glimpse at our trip and below is a video of our week in paradise, I’ll be sharing one more post of photos of the adventures and excursions we went on while exploring the country! Now, where to next?
