If you haven’t noticed lately, I have totally been digging shooting video! Most professional cameras shoot nice video but so many photographers forget to utilize this feature. After capturing our family Christmas, I knew I wanted to create more videos, so I knew this would be a good chance to try. I vowed to myself that I would try my best to shoot some clips of Blake and Jessi’s wedding day so that everyone who couldn’t make it to Puerto Rico would have something to include them in the festivities. I wasn’t sure what I would be able to get or how it would all pan out but shooting moments in the form of video is something I have begun to fall in love with. There’s a total art to it and it stretches my artistic vision beyond the realm of photography.
Granted: I am by no means a videographer, nor have I had any training in this area, but I had such a blast capturing the still moments and the moving moments simultaneously. (And yes, I looked totally wacky carrying around two cameras all day and juggling the act of shooting images and video by myself… but I had hoped it would be worth it!) Let’s just say, I am a born multi tasker! I put this together while in the airport and had tears streaming down my cheeks. Watching their day unfold in a matter of minutes is something that will bring anyone to tears (seriously, anyone.) So sit back, grab some coffee, make sure your volume is turned on, and watch a bit of Blake and Jessi’s amazing day.
Looks great, Jenna! Good job. 🙂
I hereby give you permission to call yourself a videographer. That was fantastic!! And how you managed to get that while also photographing is completely beyond me. So so beautiful.
