I can’t even handle it. It’s a FOUR-peat (and if that term hasn’t been coined yet, it is now.) I am so excited/honored/elated to announce that four the fourth year in a row I have been named the Best Wedding Photographer in Wisconsin by Wisconsin Bride Magazine. Even beyond the sweet plaque that we’ll hang in our office or the feature in the publication, it’s a night of celebrating and has become a tradition for me and my family.
Each year my parents and grandparents pile into a car and trek the six+ hours to celebrate the evening with me and while I might be the only person who brings a posse (of their parents and in-laws) with me, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. While I love bumping elbows with others in the industry and seeing old friends, sitting at a table with the people who have been cheering me on since day one means so much to me. These are the people who didn’t think I was crazy to walk away from a corporate job and salary to pursue my dreams, the ones who let me practice my camera settings on them, the ones who shared the blog posts (even if they didn’t understand what a blog was) and the ones who have walked this crazy journey along side of me.
I am so honored to represent this industry, this state, and to celebrate telling love stories and calling it a “job.” To wake up each day and know that I get to be a part of exceptional love stories and to create heirlooms that will last for generations is such a blessing. Thank you, thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for me, to cheer me on, and to celebrate with me. This year is dedicated to Grandma Pat, we missed her so much at this celebration and hope she was drinking champagne with her pretty orange painted fingernails.
Thank you, thank you, and congrats to all the other winners.
It’s a Wonderful Life! Congrats again! So Happy for you and yours! ????❤️????
