Oh lordy, friends, I am so excited to celebrate today with all of you. It’s Friday (duh, TGIF!) and I am throwing myself a little party of one while I find the perfect spot for this beautiful black and gold award. I got this little package from The Knot this week and immediately ripped into it to uncover a shiny little plaque. This highly coveted industry award is based on real reviews written by brides (and grooms!) each year. This one means a lot to me, because it’s based on brides reviews. Your sweet words, ladies, got me my very first hat trick in the industry and it is such an honor (plus it didn’t involve me slapping on hockey skates. Let’s face it, this is a hat trick for a gal with a camera.)
For 2014, theknot.com heightened the stipulations for a big WIN by increasing the requirements for vendors to be able to call themselves The Best of The Knot award winners and as a result, only 1/3 of the 2013 winners were able to call themselves The Best Of The Knot for 2014. We are honored and privileged to be in the group of winners and are excited to celebrate this and all that life has to offer on the beaches of Costa Rica for the next week! Don’t worry, the blog will still be busy (thanks to post scheduling!) but we will be kicked back and relaxed for the next seven days!
Thank you, thank you for your unconditional love and support. Your reviews allowed me to celebrate this hat trick complete with a happy dance! I am so thrilled and honored to have been able to play a significant role in so many couple’s lives, you make my world go around. This calendar year is filled with beautiful people celebrating love through 27 weddings (not dresses, thankfully) and am booking for 2015 wedding season!

I chose Jenna Leigh to be my photographer after seeing her wedding pictures on facebook. Since my very first email to her, I knew she was the BEST choice I could have made.
