This weekend is one I look forward to every single year, it’s a weekend away in the woods with people I never see as much as I would like, off of the grid and relaxed. It includes bottles of wine, father of the bride, cribbage tournaments, and lots of laughs. It is a time that reminds me of how lucky I am to have such awesome friends and is a reminder to stop, slow down, and enjoy some down time. After twelve solid weeks of shooting all over the Midwest, my body is screaming for a slow down and there is no better place on earth to do just that. I can’t wait to nap, talk, eat, walk, and be with some of my favorite friends on the planet. This weekend, I am so excited to just be.
I’ve been working so hard and haven’t taken any amount of time to just relax, so this weekend is just what the doctor ordered. It will be a time to reflect, to bask in this season that is soon coming to a close and to just disconnect. I hope your weekends are filled with the same kind of goodness! It’s time for us all to be reunited, let’s do this!
