How to Make Facebook Ads Work for You

Today I’m introducing you to a very special woman who serves my team: Kerry Swetmon. Kerry runs my Facebook ads every single month and helps me with my overall strategy. I am so excited to talk about the world of Facebook ads in this episode because it’s been an integral part of growing my business, and Kerry is an absolute expert with them! I’m even sharing how much money I’ve spent on Facebook marketing over the last five months and although the number might totally shock you, I can tell you that it’s been absolutely worth it!

Kerry is going to give us her recommendations on the three things you should be doing online for your business, and although important, why Facebook ads are just part of an overall integrated marketing plan. She also reveals why you need to look ahead on how you are going to recoup the money you’re spending on advertising, the benefits of split testing your Facebook ads and how you can get started if you’re a complete beginner with this type of marketing.

    Hi Jenna! Listened to this episode today and my question is about what content to give away if you’re not a teacher. For example, what kind of PDF would a non-photographer (client) be interested in for signing up for an email list? Thanks!

  2. Listened to this episode with great interest. Facebook ads, clearly, have been an important part of a mix for you that also includes regular blogging, the strategic use of Pinterest and IG, and building an e-mail list. One thing I’m trying to wrap my head around is how you manage and prioritize all of the above simultaneously. Especially for someone who is just starting out with many of the above, does it make sense to start with all of them at once? One at a time? And, once they are up and running, what is the ratio of time. money, and energy you spend on each one? Thank you Jenna!!

    Another great episode, thank you JK and team!! I have learned so much about marketing that used to confuse me a great deal. One marketing avenue I’ve looked at (and by which I am still pretty darn confused) is Adwords. I’m curious if it is something the JK team has used at all and, if so, how it fits in with the other marketing strategies you use. Would love your thoughts!
