Sometimes you meet a couple and you thank the good Lord that they patiently waited for the person he made specially for them – Kelsey and Jamie? Yeah, it’s impossible to look at them and doubt that they were meant to go through life together. They met at a wedding, Kelsey claims he saw Jamie the minute she walked into the church. A drink or two down, they met on the dance floor where they spent the night dancing together, laughing, and accepting the divine plan that they were destined for. That night, Kelsey hailed Jamie a cab, promising to see her soon. A few weeks later he visited her and the rest is history.

On Saturday in Sioux Falls, they said “I do” in the oldest Lutheran church in South Dakota and celebrated their vows at the Strawbale Winery. The sun set with the most radiant warmth as people sat in it’s light talking, sipping wine, smoking cigars, and watching the chickens wander the property. It was as if God was smiling down on them saying, “Well done, good and faithful servants – I told you it’d be worth the wait.” Worth it, it was, just seeing the way Kelsey looked at Jamie said it all.
