i am over the moon to share this project with you! i have been wanting to shoot a showreel for a long time, i wanted to clients to see what a session is like. i wanted to prove that any couple can be photogenic and that i am alright with laughing at myself. so many times i meet with couples who tell me they are awkward in front of the camera, that they stink at posing, that they aren’t comfortable with photos… well friends, it is my job to prove you wrong. you are all superstars and i want you to feel absolutely flawlessly in love in front of me, heck, i will even laugh at my own expense to make you smile. special thanks to this gorgeous couple, julianna and nathan, who happen to be a husband and wife photography duo based in seattle. these two modeled their way to amazing photos that i will be sharing very soon! true story: they have been married for seven years and have never had professional photos taken, so trust me, they aren’t trained models even though they could convince us otherwise. i am also ridiculously grateful for my sweet friend, tami, who played videographer for the day. she did an incredible job and i am so happy this vision finally came to life.
i want my couples to see me, to watch how the gorgeous images naturally unfold, to feel like they know me before they even meet me. i want you to know who i am, what i love, and how i laugh because the second i meet you it all turns to you! i want to hear how you met, fell in love, what you envision for your marriage and what your favorite latte is. video offers a glance into what you can expect, it breaks the barriers of words and photos and allows you to see exactly what kind of fun is in store for you!
grab a coffee, pull up a chair, and see just how incredibly fun a session can be. i promise there will be lots of laughing!
so, now do you want to schedule a shoot?

SO fun!! Great work, my friend!
This is so cute, Jenna! I love it! What lens do you use for your shoots?
Hi Kelly! For this shoot I used my 35mm 1.4 prime lens! I am a big fan of primes because I feel like they are super sharp glass and it enables me to move in order to compose the photo! My other favorite is my 50mm 1.4! Love both of them! Hope this helps 🙂
expected nothing less. this is so fun and amazing!
Girl I just stumbled upon this and it’s the best! Love how much of your personality shone through. Making a video is now on my bucket list for one day.. 🙂
So where are the photos from the shoot? Great video, but now I want to see the actual images!
