It all started with a string of emails between me and a sweet girl named Ashley… she was telling me about her friend Erin and how she knew I had to be her photographer but she was still waiting for Alex to propose. I giggled over the situation and knew that we would get along just fine. Weeks later, I got the email… Alex had proposed at his families home with a beautifully decorated pool deck and an insanely amazing ring. Little did Erin know, their friends and family were hiding in the room awaiting the celebration of their engagement! Erin and I feel like long time friends, the kind that you text outfit ideas to and talk about our love for simple, tasteful, beautiful weddings. Hanging out with her and Alex in Lake Mills was hours filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of gorgeousness.
