There are always those things in life that we know to be true. Whether it be advice about love, that bubble baths reduce stress, or that macaroni is good for the soul. Whatever they may be, these truths live within us and make us the kind of people we are. They are engrained in us from a young age and the things we cling two when the world gets turned upside down (well, I guess I eat macaroni when the world is right side up, too.) Regardless of what your life rules are, I am sure you have some. I’d love to get an earful of what fuels your days and who you are at the core of your being (hint: mine has something to do with pancakes, yoga pants, and my mom.) Today I am revealing 10 things I know to be true… yes, this are the things that life has taught me and the rules I follow on a daily basis.

JENNA LEIGH’S LIFE RULES
.) When in doubt, take a nap. Sleep always help any situation, good or bad. Snuggle up and catch a few zzz’s.
.) Always have Macaroni and Cheese in the cupboard, you never know when you’ll need it. (If you’re me, you’ll need it tomorrow.)
.) Skinny jeans suck, yoga pants rock – always. Your stress levels reduce in the act of switching from one to the other.
.) If you want to feel pretty, get your nails done. The half hour it takes will make you immediately feel more lady like and your nails will thank you.
.) Make out – often, for no good reason. It burns calories and makes you smile (and fall in love all over again.)
.) Breakfast for dinner is always okay, don’t question it. Just make pancakes if you have no other options, you won’t regret it.
.) Always, always, always be kind. Everyone is fighting their own battle whether or not you are aware. Just be a kind and gracious human, the world will thank you.
.) Bring your yoga pants to the gym. I know exercise clothes work for everyday clothes but sweating will make you happier, healthier, and a total babe.
.) Call your mother. Remember those days when she said, “Someday you’ll get it.” Those days are here, thank her for putting up with you.
.) Give thanks. Stop and think of the things that you are thankful for, you will immediately smile, pinky promise.
