This year I am really going to aim to let the photos do the talking… sometimes they say more than I ever could say. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to kick off my wedding season. Jourdan is my long lost BFF who for over a year has been my email pen pal and confidant, vowing to be friends long after their wedding day. I have anxiously awaited this wedding because I knew it wouldn’t be like any other, unique as they are. They absolutely blew me away… When I first met these two at Alterra they explained that they wanted their day to fit them: mission accomplished, friends. With a cocktail hour before the ceremony, guests mingled and enjoyed snacks and brews from Pabst. A ceremony so entirely special it left everyone in tears, laughing fits, and everything in between. They clung to the idea that there are zero rules for weddings and in turn had the most intimate, special, and unique event I have ever possibly attended. After a delicious dinner this duo kicked off the dance party and boy did they fill the dance floor… Sending off lanterns and making wishes ended the perfect evening under the glowing lights of the Pabst Brewery. Never have I experienced a couple or wedding as unique as they are, to explain their day would be impossible… here is their story: 

“I will love you forever because ’til death do us part is for quitters.”
