I have shared my theory about annual photos on this blog from time to time and in sharing my belief that life stages should be captured and remembered for what they are, a few of my amazing wedding clients have hopped on board the anniversary photo session train! Life is short, friends, and although your wedding is one hell of a day to be photographed, your real life is probably more jeans and boots over a pretty lace dress and false eyelashes! Something so cool about taking photos is freezing a moment in time. So much can change in a year, so much growth, experience, love, and understanding. Jamie and Cody got married (just shy of) a year ago. Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful and everything a girl can dream of. We wanted to celebrate one year of wedded bliss in one of our favorite places, The Little Farmer! We soaked up the fall sites, drank some apple cider, filled our bellies with a pumpkin muffin, and checked out the pumpkins, goats, and apple orchards. I am so, so happy that Cody and Jamie are documenting such a fun stage in their lives and pray they continue to do so (because hanging out with them makes my heart so happy!) Don’t let your story stop at your wedding day, don’t think you need an excuse to schedule a session, every stage of life deserves to be documented and someday you just might regret not having the photos that tell each chapter of your love story!

Special thanks to my hunky husband, Drew, for spending his Sunday making us laugh, fetching cider, and keeping me warm!
