Just shy of one whole year ago I launched the Jenna Kutcher Print Shop. Whoa, where has time gone? It’s absolutely wild to think of the evolution of my life, my business, my little print shop over the last year. Insane, I tell you. I think when you own a business it’s hard to see and appreciate the little things as they happen but when you really take a step back and evaluate, it’s mind boggling and amazing all rolled into one enchilada. (Yum, now I am craving enchiladas.)  In the last year I have sold 1,500+ prints from my Society6 shop, collaborated with incredible brands, created logos and graphics, and gotten the chance to see my designs all over the world thanks to social media! I’ve partnered with The Shine Project, The Everygirl, Shabby Apple, Jillian Harris, Des Hartsock and more to complete fun little inspirational paintings, now that is just straight up crazy! What started as a stress relieving hobby turned into something I absolutely love and a fun little piece of the Jenna Kutcher brand.

I have to give one mighty shout out to my amazing mother-in-law who was an art teacher and has a knack for holding onto art supplies, most everything I use has been touched by her magical hands. I am so grateful she gave me the tools to start painting and enjoy the break from staring at a computer screen! Cheers, Cheryl, you da best!  So what has the last year taught me? Well, one that I need to plant a few trees for all the scraps of paper I have painted on to create my new prints. It’s also taught me that no matter how crazy your dream may seem, you should chase it. It just might work! The truth? I told myself if 8 people bought a print from me, I would chalk it up as a success. The reality? Thousands of people in the world have my art in their lives. Now that, that is just mind boggling!
