It was a perfect winter wonderland as I drove to Fond du Lac to celebrate my 27th and final wedding of 2013! Emily is one of the strongest women I know, both in and out of the gym. Today was the day she was going to marry her high school sweetheart, Todd. I arrived to a home decorated beautifully for Christmas, Emily looked stunning and the ladies were all ready to get to the church. As Emily’s dad walked her down the aisle and gave her away to Todd, he hung on for an extra second and whispered “I love you.”
After the ceremony we ventured outside and captured some of the most beautiful wedding portraits I have ever taken among the snowy Wisconsin scenery. We laughed, cried, and danced the night away. It was a day where everyone shed a tear or two as we watched these two in their newly wedded bliss! What an honor it is to share in friends wedding days, to take part of such intimate moments, and to be among their closest family and friends as they promise a lifetime together. A perfect end to an incredible year, now that is for certain.
