HOMES EDITION III: russ + cheryl
“home isn’t a place, its a feeling.”
drew’s childhood memories live here, in these four walls. his bedrooms still has posters taped to the door of penny hardaway and brett farve. there is a feeling that someone gets when they finally return home, the kind of feeling where you can wake up in the middle of the night and make it to the bathroom without even turning on a light. every piece of love hand placed and decor to celebrate every season, russ + cheryl raised a family in this home and now enjoy it as empty nesters. it has become a place where i live in sweats, feel comfortable to grab some food, sit on the patio and watch the pups play and snooze on the couch during football games. we are blessed to have parents who are so in love and who set an example of wedded bliss over 30 years after “i do!” we love having parents close enough to grab dinner with and a weekend in oakfield is a lot like going “home” for me. i am so lucky to have married into a family as loving as the kutchers. so, let me share a little piece of russ + cheryl’s story with you.
