It’s start to set in: we are really moving… in the middle of my wedding season… into our very first home. I have mixed emotions of excitement, fear, and freedom. I have started to visualize our little family in the space, to dream up design and decor, to plan out what we need and when. We are incredibly blessed to buy a home that requires nothing, we don’t have to do anything and that is such a blissful feeling. It is pretty much a blank canvas awaiting our stamp and boy, our Kutcher stamp will be fun to put on it. I am most excited to have a dedicated office to set up all pretty, organize, and close the door on at the end of the day. I want our space to reflect us, to inspire me, to house our memories and to be lived in.
If you know me, you know I love old country homes with tons of nooks and crannies, beautiful architecture, and charm. The truth? We ended up buying a new home that is super modern… funny how that happened? We want to move in with all of the furniture we currently have and get cozy before we start to purchase all kinds of new things, of course it’s easy to go overboard when thinking of furnishing a large space, so it might be great that I will be so busy with weddings that I will forget about all the kinds of things I want to buy. I am going to try to infuse my country eclectic love into the modern design and voila, the Kutcher house will become a home.
Of course I hopped onto Pinterest to organize my ideas, here are a few of the things I am loving right now:
