Another week has passed… what?! Where is September going – I still feel like it’s August (and I’m fairly certain my calendar is still on August… so, if you are wondering how my mind is keeping up with the calendar, this should settle it.) The weeks just fly on by and as I continue to finish up one heck of an amazing wedding season, I am in awe of all that this year has held! I am super pumped that Drew and I are going to see The Head and the Heart tonight in Madison! They are pretty much my go-to work music and I am mildly obsessed with them! This weekend’s wedding will be weekend 23 and will be spent in the lovely Lake Geneva with Christine and Charlie.
After this one, I only have six to go and that is just straight up crazy! This week I took a little time to sit at the dining room table and paint. A few new designs were uploaded to the print shop and I am pretty obsessed with the way the new floral print looks on just about everything! Don’t believe me? I ordered a new phone case AND a mug! I’ve been getting a lot of requests for custom orders and I am super excited to be able to do more of them come November but at this point I am only committing to work that I have time for!
Cool happenings of the week:
1.) Our home was featured on The Nest, whoa! This was a total surprise and such a fun little feature to come across! Super cool to see our space on such a huge site! The Nest is The Knots affiliate and features homes, decor, and ways to navigate newlywed life!
2.) I found out my print shop and paintings will be featured in the next issue of Wisconsin Bride magazine! Yahoo! It’s crazy to not only be able to see my images in this magazine but my paintings! So awesome!
3.) Wedding stationery that I designed for a styled shoot will be featured on Wedding Chicks soon and I can’t wait to see the images! This was a shoot in the Pacific Northwest and I designed a few pieces of stationery! It will be a blast to see it online!
4.) We are closely approaching 500 print shop orders and that’s just straight up crazy! This off season is going to be filled with tons of painting and dreaming and growth of the print shop. I had no clue if this would be a hit or a flop and y’all have proved that it’s something I should pursue! Yay!
5.) This watercolor phone case (currently on my phone) is a featured design on Society6! They pick their favorites/top sellers and this one is on page six of popular iPhone cases which is pretty darn sweet!
