I am definitely a far cry from a professional videographer, but when it comes to teaming up with The Everygirl, you better believe I put my best foot forward (ever heard the saying, “fake it ’til you make it?”) Last week I dusted off my video equipment, packed my microphone, filled up my coffee cup and hit the highway to spend the day in Chicago! Just a few years ago I did one of my first video projects for The Everygirl, so it only felt right to come out of video retirement to tackle another one for them. This time it was for co-founder Danielle Moss and her incredible, bright, white Chicago apartment. I mean, for real, this place is one of the dreamiest spaces I’ve ever touched my toes in. I felt like I was inside a Pinterest pin that exploded in the brightest, whitest way.
It also made me want to run home, white wash every inch of our home (luckily, Drew wouldn’t let me!)I snuggler her sweet rescue pup, Buddy, said silly words to catch his attention, shot some headshots for Danielle, and did video of her space. It’s so fun to stretch a new creative muscle (or, frankly one that hasn’t been stretched in awhile!) and I love shooting things other than weddings every once in awhile. These girls have built an incredible, inspiring empire and to get to team up with them again was a favorite of mine. Girl power, am I right? Oh my gosh – I wanna whitewash now too!!! Haha! Also….I have been dying for a brick wall in my home. But not a project worth tackling for a rental. It will just have to wait for my dream home! I am most obsessed with all her black and white pillows since I have been on the hunt for some stunning ones for my living room. Know where she got these?
