They are the kind of people you encounter and wish your paths would have crossed years ago, Dave and Allie are the kindest, sweetest, most laid back duo who showcase true friendship and real love for all the world to see. Surrounded by their friends and family (and a few stray raindrops and gusts of wind) they celebrated their perfect day at Whistling Straits on Saturday. Although mother nature was invited, she decided to show up with some crazy cold and dreary weather, however, nothing was going to stop everyone from making it the best day of Dave and Allie’s lives. The ceremony was moved into the reception area and made for a perfectly cozy and intimate space for Dave and Allie to say their vows and in the middle of cocktail hour, the clouds broke and we were able to truly enjoy some of the beautiful sites that Whistling Strait has to offer! I wished at the end of the night, that I could hug each and every person who played a role in their special day – from their amazing wedding party to their loving families, each and every individual made it a day to remember and one heck of a party! Encountering people like these two remind me of how lucky I am to call this my job, to work with people who I hug with all of my might at the end of the evening, and promise to get drinks in the city soon. I am so special and I am so grateful that I got to play a minor role in the beginning of Mr. and Mrs. Simon. Now, Simon says, go watch that slideshow below!
