They met at the end of their junior year in high school, a few months later they shared their first kiss on New Years and the rest is history – well, sort of. Their instant connection just “clicked” and before they knew it, they were busy applying for colleges. The only catch? They were separated by miles and miles in order to pursue their dreams. Connor wanting to be a dentist, Lisa pursuing nursing. With an almost none hour drive between them, their relationship strengthened with the distance and fate held some big moves that in hindsight laid out plans better than they could have (funny how that works, isn’t it?)

So after four years of late night phone calls, Skype sessions, and monthly visits they finally graduated and moved back home. They finally lived together, no more miles separating them, and after a few months of living together Connor took Lisa to Nashville where he proposed by waking her up at the crack of dawn and surprising her with a ring. On a sunny fall Saturday, these two said “I do” with a brisk coolness in the air, the leaves slowly dropping, and their friends and family cheering them on. The trip down the aisle was years in the making and their wedding day will live on for years and years to come. Maybe distance really does make the heart grow fonder, right Connor and Lisa?
