I don’t normally do a blog to share some of our anniversary photos for a few reasons! They are super sacred to me, I love to share bits and pieces behind the scenes throughout the year, and I love to share them little by little BUT this year isn’t like years past. When we were trying to plan our shoot (and we almost missed it… only a few months later than normal!) I just wanted to get back to us, which looks more like hanging at home with the dogs than venturing around a park or a camp or anything else. After a year of crazy travels, home makes me the happiest (and the people I share it with are the cherry on top!)
Since we moved into our craftsman a year ago (but never had photos of us in it!) it seemed perfect to just hang out here. Unlike years past, I didn’t get my make up done, was still curling my hair minutes before the session, and didn’t have outfits nailed down. Maybe that’s what year five is all about: comfort. You know why none of that mattered? I had the PERFECT photographer for the job. Who? My newest (and first!) associate, Courtney. What a perfect opportunity to show the world just how incredible she is, what a fun way to get to be on the other side of the lens and experience working with her firsthand. Needless to say, these are just a few of the hundreds of images Courtney shot of us (and goodness, we couldn’t be more in love with the way she captured our lives!)
I’m fully, officially booked for the 2017 wedding season BUT….
I am officially fully booked for the 2017 wedding season BUT Courtney is taking on weddings as my associate shooter! Her wedding rates start at $3,500 and she has a few spots in the calendar that can be filled! After Courtney left, Drew looked at me and said, “Dang, she’s good!” I smiled, because this girl was the PERFECT first associate, I think the images speak for themselves. To inquire about Courtney, her packages, and how the whole “associate” thing works, email: hello@jennakutcher.com and we’ll give you all the info!

Do you take anniversary photos every year? I love that idea, I don’t think there is a more perfect gift for a photographer than to have the most precious photos taken year after year to hold on to forever. Also I would love to become an associate for a photographer. I just want to let you know that you continue to amaze me. I continue to learn new things from you. For example, today I heard you say that Instagram posts are like micro blog posts. They provide the feedback for the direction of blog posts. Thank you for targeting me in your business!
