She designs airplanes for a living, Rusty is in the computer security industry, they both love scent, technology, museums, and each other. Getting married at the EAA Airplane Museum was the perfect fit for setting off into the married skies. These two stole my heart, I teased they were my spirit animal, they have a knack for saying exactly what everyone is thinking and they never take themselves too seriously. Their friends and family must feel the same way I do, they flew in from near and far to celebrate on the sunniest Saturday in June and cheese curds provided adequate fuel for the dance floor. From the first time I spoke with them, Jessica and Rusty stressed the importance of their friends and family, from celebrating Rusty’s grandparents 62nd anniversary on the day they wed, to capturing special moments between Jess and her amazing brother, moments with family was the core of their perfect wedding day. The day came and went in the blink of an eye. From the loads of laughter to the abundance of all these cheese and delicious (ahem, macaroni and cheese at dinner) these two filled their day to the brim with the best moments that tell their wedding day story. This California duo planned their wedding day from afar but are no strangers to long distances. They met while interning for the same company during a summer in college, from the beginning of their relationship they were doing the distance game. From New York to Boston, Wisconsin to Denver, and all that’s in between just being in a room with their closest friends, family, and surrounded by airplanes, their day was absolutely unforgettable.
