They met and started dating back in high school, it’s safe to say that Laura and Mike’s wedding day was a decade in the making as they grew up together, chased dreams, and planned the perfect day. Mike grew up enjoying Lake Geneva and ultimately, it was where he asked Laura Kate to be his wife. Such a special place would serve as the perfect backdrop for where they would say “I do” in the presence of their closest family and friends.

While the forecast said rain, we had other plans for their wedding day – plans that included being outside and enjoying the beautiful grounds of Geneva National. Following a beautiful Catholic ceremony, guests were invited to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the front lawn before being the reveal of the most beautiful tent reception. The setting took guests breath away as they entered the tent for the reception. Draped in greenery, covered in florals, and set to perfection, we were ready to celebrate.

So many vendors shared their talents with the special couple and their guests and the setting was the perfect place to toast to speeches, enjoy an amazing meal, and tear up the dance floor. Good things come to those who wait and I’d say the wait was 110% worth it for Laura and Mike.
