You know what? I have nothing else to say but I freaking love these photos of people that I freaking love. Simple as that. Sometimes I just have to let the photos do the talking and the universe do the orchestrating. In my case, that means connecting me to women like Jessie, who two years after tweeting each other became one of my closest gal pals (thank you to Twitter and Instgram and the wild world of the inter webs, yes this is my friendship acceptance speech.) I don’t really know how it all happened but all I know is that I found myself in Dallas last weekend overly full on food, bloody marys, and good conversation, filled to the brim with brunch and happiness.
This family has become comfort to me, the kind of friends you stumble out of bed and lay on the couch with last nights mascara and today’s smile (and a strong need for coffee.) They are the ones who allow sleepovers with little Bren, slumber parties with the gang, and nights being inducted into the official clan. These three remind me that family is everything and they sort of make me feel like the luckiest little human to get to capture their fam. They are awesome at reminding me of my Wisconsin accent and they always manage to make me eat 5,000 calories and nap midday. They have become a constant source of hilarious selfies, encouragement, and friendship and all I can say is that I really just can’t wait to make magic at their Dallas, Texas wedding in October. If these images are any inclination about what I can expect, lord, have mercy. Get ready Texas, I’m coming. I guess what they say is true, everything really is bigger in Texas and my heart falls into that sentiment perfectly.
