I’m booking travel for next year and this includes flying my entire team to Waco in January. Why? Because in 2018 I’m investing in my team and in teaching others (that’s right…. in real life, not just online.) I’m focused on creating a culture that supports and encourages one another to each work in our zone of genius while leaning on one another to work towards the same goal. I’m committed to this, and the first step is getting us all under one roof to collaborate, plan, and dream as a collective group. You see, having a remote team, we never get to be together… in fact, there are still people on my team who I’ve never met in real life. So instead of bringing everyone to me, I figured we might as well take advantage of some travel perks, get out of the tundra that is the Midwest, and get in a space where we feel creative and inspired. We’ll also be on the hunt for a Joanna Gaines sighting (duh), staying in her Barndominium and leading 25 women in our first mastermind meetup.

As you start planning your next year, chances are you’ve got a trip or two (I’m hoping at least one or two are for pleasure!) I challenge you to map things out and ask yourself:

• What are my travel plans for next year?
• How am I incorporating rest into my schedule?
• Am I creating time for community in real life?
