If a friendship lasts longer than 7 years, psychologists say it will last a lifetime, well, Brit, you are stuck with me for the rest of my life. I met her in 2006 in a Taco Bell. The truth? We knew each other through friends but had never really connected. Over tacos we realized that we had similar hearts, wanted similar things in life, and started budding our friendship that freshmen semester. Over the next year we spent many nights in, sipping Starbucks, watching movies, and living life. The next year we bunked up together in the dorms, the following year we lived together in a house with four other girls (long live 2266!) It’s crazy that Brit has entered this new season of life, it’s surreal that we are old enough to be parents. Part of me feels like our Taco Bell nights were just yesterday and the other part of me feels like that was an eternity ago. I was super fortunate to spend some time with Brit and her awesome husband, David! To celebrate this stage of life, catch up, and take some bump photos (which let’s be honest, these are beautiful) was such an honor! I can’t wait to meet their little man in the next few months!
