Sometimes a love story isn’t just between two people, sometimes there might be three (or four, or five.) In Rachel and Brian’s case, there was Blake – a sweet, spunky, six year old who was ready to see his mommy marry the love of her life. As she walked down the aisle, he fidgeted nervously, his eyes with pure admiration as he watched his mom as a bride. I still remember meeting Rachel years ago, when she was the maid of honor in a wedding I photographed and watching her with Blake. I thought to myself, “Man, she’s going to make the best wife to someone incredibly lucky someday.”
Well, someday came and I was lucky enough to photograph the day as she married Brian, the most incredible, loving, patient, and kind man – someone of her caliber that I can only describe as the perfect match. Their day was sunny and bright, happy and lighthearted, filled with love and joy (and excessively awesome dance moves.) She was everything I dreamed she would be as a bride (and more) and seeing her become a wife and watching Brian become even more important to Blake was pretty much the best day ever.

Beautiful pictures for a beautiful day from beginning to end!
What a great night! The bride and groom were very photogenic, but these photos are stunning. Excellent work.
This was a day that was marked with many beautiful and emotional moments. Congratulations, Rachel, Blake, and Brian. I loved seeing your Grandma Audrey wipe the tears of her great granddaughter, little Addison Van Gompel; I loved seeing Rachel dancing with her cousin Rebecca and sister Trisha, I loved seeing baby Jack Schweitzer eat beans from the fantastic food at the dinner; I loved seeing Brooke smile as she showed her engagement ring; I loved seeing little Lucas hugging all the cousins he could; I loved seeing the little ones chase each other and run around in their darling frocks; I loved seeing Blake bask in the attention of being the BEST Best man! These children are our future. Let them love.
